SANTANDER PROVIDES MULTI-MILLION POUND REFINANCING DEAL FOR NOTTINGHAMSHIRE RECYCLING BUSINESS
A major recycling business in Nottinghamshire has undergone a multi-million pound refinancing deal with the support of Santander’s corporate banking team in Nottingham.
The £5.75m debt facility has been agreed with Nottinghamshire Recycling Limited (NRL) and Park Farming Limited, which is owned and managed by recycling entrepreneur Kevin Burgess.
Both NRL and Park Farming Limited are multi-disciplined companies providing a comprehensive recycling and waste collection service with sites in Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire. As well as processing construction and demolition waste, recycled aggregates, wood and green waste the companies have a range of compactors, skips and roll-on-off vehicles and a fleet of bulkers and tippers for waste collection. Commercial waste is handled for Local Authorities and a growing number of national Blue Chip companies
Kevin Burgess, Managing Director at Nottinghamshire Recycling Limited said: “Dealing with waste has evolved considerably in recent years and with our four licensed waste management facilities we are able to treat waste as a raw material, which can be turned into a product either by reusing the waste or recycling it. We have achieved considerable growth over the last five years and with the refinancing agreement we now have in place with Santander, I am confident of future success.
