Northampton’s CKN Print has extended it premises at Round Spinney to facilitate an expansion of its services into die making, die cutting, creasing and encapsulating markets.

Directors at the firm are looking to capitalise on industry movements and have invested in new services that compliment the company’s current market, whilst also offering outwork facilities to other companies.

Managing director Jay Kingston confirmed: “We have made this investment to position ourselves to take advantage of this area of print finishing where other companies have failed. It is a measure in our belief in the business that this makes us not only stronger for this year, but stronger for years to come. It allows us to compete for, and generate further revenue streams for the business.”

Robert Davey, relationship manager at NatWest, which supported the CKN in its expansion, added: “Anticipating and meeting market demands are the hallmark of successful businesses. Jay and the team have a detailed understanding of the print industry and can see where the market is moving. They now have the right equipment in place to make the most of opportunities.”
