Barclays appoints new Director for the East Midlands

Nigel Winkett has recently been appointed Business Development Director for Barclays Corporate in the East Midlands.
Nigel will be responsible for leading the East Midlands Corporate Business Development Team, which specialises in providing financial services solutions to medium sized businesses in the area.
Nigel joins Barclays from Royal Bank of Scotland where he worked for twenty four years – the last three of which have been spent in the corporate and commercial finance arena predominantly in and around Nottinghamshire.
Commenting on his appointment, Nigel said: “I am delighted at being offered the opportunity to build a new Business Development team for Barclays Corporate within an area that I have worked many years and have a great passion for. I admire Barclays commitment to providing excellent customer service and specialist industry propositions. My main objective is to grow Barclays’ competitive position by enhancing and growing market share’
