New President For Leicestershire Law Society

James Coningsby has been elected as the new President of Leicestershire Law Society.
As President, James, who qualified as a solicitor in 1990 and is a director at the Leicester office of Nelsons, will be the public face and voice of the Society for a one year term. He was previously Vice President of the Society and Chair of its Finance & General Purpose Committee.
Commenting on his appointment, James said: ‘I am delighted to accept this appointment. The Society has worked hard to engage more effectively with members and the public over the past few years and my aim is to continue that work’
Judith Sheen, manager of Leicestershire Law Society comments: ‘We would like to thank Stephen Woolfe for his commitment and contribution as our outgoing President and now welcome James in the role. James, in particular, has been leading on the creation and introduction of a Business Plan for the Society, which identifies a set of objectives and clear direction for the next three years’
