Free Employment Law Breakfast Seminars

Howes Percival are holding free breakfast seminars in Leicester, Northampton and Milton Keynes to update employers and Human Resources professionals on the proposed changes to employment law coming into force this April.
The seminars will cover the increase in the qualifying period an employee has to work before they gain the right to claim unfair dismissal from 1 year to 2 years and the increase in statutory maternity and sickness payments both of which are due to take effect in April, as well as recent key decisions by Employment Tribunals. Howes Percival employment partner and head of department Paula Bailey (pictured) says “There are several changes to Employment law which will come into force this April and our update seminars will assist employers in preparing for their introduction.”
The Leicester seminar will take place on 21 February at Howes Percival’s Leicester office at Bede Island Business Park, Leicester and runs from 8am to 9.45am. The Northampton seminar will take place on 1 March at Howes Percival’s Northampton office, Oxford House, Cliftonville, Northampton and runs from 9am to 10.45am. The Milton Keynes seminar (in association with Hudsons) will take place on 15 March at 500 Avebury Boulevard, Milton Keynes and runs from 8am to 9.45am. Breakfast will be provided at all seminars.
