The introduction of LEPs seems to have created a number of fiefdoms, losing sight of the regional offer and building barriers. The East Midlands has a brilliant overall package and would achieve so much more if working together, attracting inward investment and tourism. Losing EMDA, arguably the best of the RDAs, can only make the situation worse. Communicate East Midlands is working hard to stem the tide of anti-regionalism and continue to sing the praises of our wonderful region. www.communicateeastmidlands.org I totally agree with these sentiments. Opportunities abound in the current environment offering ample investor capital to deploy, as well as evidence that some of the best performing PE vintage returns, in the past, were made at the bottom of the cycle.
